Maureen Dowd's wrote an excellent op-ed about the Mosque controversy in the United States.

This anti-Islamic attitude is occurring in many places not just in New York near Ground Zero.

All places of worship should be respected, no matter what the religion, and the American Constitution and the United States Supreme Court rulings guarantees religious freedom.

This law protects Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindu's, Sikhs, all other religions and even non-believers' religious freedom. This right is one of the great benefits of living in America and now an anti-Muslim fascist shadow is darking America and threatening its freedoms. It is time that the American people wake up to the danger.
