Dr. Ingrid Mattson, Chair in Islamic Studies at The University of Western Ontario will be the keynote speaker at the Canadian Charger's fundraising dinner to be held in Waterloo, Ontario on Saturday Nov. 10, 2012 at 5 pm. You can save $5 if you buy your ticket online now.
The topic of her talk is “A Canadian Islam?”
Dr. Mattson is native of Waterloo and she was the first woman to head a major Islamic organization in North America; ISNA.
“The Canadian Charger makes an important contribution to increasing the availability of critical information and a diversity of perspectives on the news in Canada,” said Dr. Mattson.
