Re: Why young Canadians become Jihadists?

Anne Marie Elderkin - Halifax

It is not a question about being Canadians it is a question about being driven to terrorism due to poverty of Mind, Body and Soul.

We live in a world that can cheerfully provide for everyone with grace and dignity for one and all however a few people hold the throats and purse strings of the World.

This includes oppression from religious leaders and groups that are ignorant or lacking knowledge of the advances made in education, training, counseling, consultations, healthy conversations and dialogue on any and every subject, as well as open access to Healthy Living Standards for one and all!  Healthy Foods, Healthy Activities, Arts, Crafts, Music, Drama along with Encouragement I think it is called Caring and Sharing, being active and involved.

ISIS are not Muslims they are criminals

The Prophet Mohammed bid us as does Allah, God, the Creator to strive to resolve challenges and situations before crisis, conflict or violence can take place.

9. If two parties among the Believers fall into a quarrel make ye peace between them: but if one of them transgresses beyond bounds against the other, then fight ye (all) against the one that transgresses until it complies with the command of Allah; but if it complies, then make peace between them with justice, and be fair: for Allah loves those who are fair (and just).

(The Qur'an (Yusuf Ali tr), Surah  49)

Allah's Apostle said, "There is a Sadaqa to be

given for every joint of the human body; and for

every day on which the sun rises there is a

reward of a Sadaqa (i.e. charitable gift) for the

one who establishes justice among people."

 (Hadith, Bukhari Vol 3)
